Friday July 13th, 2012. Not Just Sports has three interesting guests in studio today. Jeff Timmons, charismatic and charming boy band singer always creates a crowd when he shows up. Jeff and his family live in Las Vegas. Jeff started 98 Degrees more than a decade ago and yet fans still remember their music and want more.
July 13- Jeff Timmons – 98 degrees – Amanda Bingson – Ken Thompson
Our Olympian today is a UNLV student whose track coach successfully directed her away from shot put and discus and got her into the hammer throw. Amanda Bingson has qualified for the 2012 Olympics—beyond all odds for a newcomer to the sport. She is passionate about her sport and is fired up to compete in London. Not Just Sports will follow her journey to try to secure the first Olympic medal for a US female olympian in the hammer throw.
Our third guest is Ken Thompson, the most sports knowledgeable expert I know. He will break down the essence of each NFL team and provide valuable information that adds a new dimension for Fantasy Football followers. Ken’s show, Sports X Radio, is on KDWN weekdays from 7PM to 9PM PST.
Jeff Timmons and the original 98 Degrees singers will be showcasing their talent at Hershey Park, Pennsylvania this summer to see if they want to put together a reunion tour. We wish them luck. We will follow Jeff once he returns from his Hersey Park reunion and check in with him to see whether the 98 Degrees have decided to go out on tour or continue to go their separate ways.
