Tuesday July 17th, 2012. Not Just Sports hosts Lance and Susan talk to Brandon Marshall, newly drafted NFL rookie linebacker and Khadevis Robinson, Assistant UNLV Women’s track coach, about competing in the big leagues.
July 17 – Guests Brandon Marshall – Khadevis Robinson
Brandon Marshall is a Las Vegas native who plays football with a passion. He was drafted in the 5th round of the NFL draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars in April 2012. Brandon is fired up and ready to prove that he has what it takes to make it in the NFL. We will follow him during the coming football season and wish him the best.
Khadevis Robinson is as passionate about family, coaching, and track. He is currently living in Las Vegas and has competed and excelled as a runner in 800m races. Khadevis just narrowly missed his chance to compete in the 2008 Olympics but has qualified for the 2012 Olympics. He will probably be the oldest runner (36) competing in the 800m race. But his strength of character and vision helped him make it this far. He is thrilled to be in the running and win or lose he feels he already is a winner. We wish him great success in his career. He is an extraordinary man.
