Friday July 20th, 2012. A female Boxing Judge and an Olympic Hopeful in Judoko are on with Lance and Susan today.

The first woman to judge WBA boxing matches—Carol Polis has led a very interesting life. Her new book, The Lady is a Champ, is available now. Carol, who admits she hates the sight of blood, somehow overcame a sight that is prevalent in the boxing ring, and during her career has judged 27 title fights in 9 countries. Although she also worried about a fighter ending up in her lap, she was spared that fate.
Kayla Harrison is an outstanding role model for young girls and teenagers. She lived through a very traumatic situation when she was a teenager, faced those demons, and persevered to become the current world champion in Judo. She is on her way to London to compete in the 2012 Olympics. Kayla has been training almost her entire life and is expected to win a medal—hopefully gold.
Kayla has shown determination, discipline, and drive to get where she is today and we wish her the best at the Olympics.
