Wednesday September 19th, Not Just Sports has a jam packed show; an up close and personal conversation with Marnie Schneider (Susan’s daughter) about Steve Sabol, NFL Films creative genius for 50 years, Raider’s legendary wide receiver Cliff Branch, and Joe Walsh a world renown musician.
Marnie Schneider worked for NFL Films right after she graduated college. For several years she had the opportunity to work with creative genius and innovative superstar Steve Sabol. Steve has been recognized as the reason that the NFL became the greatest sports brand in history and will be missed by all those who knew him.
Cliff Branch is the only Raiders player to have won all three of the team’s Super Bowl Rings. He has stats that are still impressive and although he has been nominated to the NFL Hall of Fame he has yet to achieve recognition of his incredible athletic achievements.
Joe Walsh is a prolific and talented composer, singer and musician. He even plays the “bagpipes.” He was the lead guitarist for the James Gang, joined the Eagles for several years, and jump started his original solo career. Joe is a real survivor and has a new album, Analog Man, which was released in June.
