Tuesday September 25th, Not Just Sports talks to Canyon Springs football coach, Hernandez “Hunkie” Cooper about his football program and the work he does with Communities in Schools.
Hunkie Cooper is one of a kind. He pours all of his energy and time into helping students as Canyon Springs High School. Hunkie was a multi talented football player for UNLV and spent 13 successful seasons with the Arena Football League. Coach Cooper not only spends his afternoons working with high school football players but as the school site coordinator for CIS he spends most of his days helping students deal with all kinds of problems.
